World’s Trendiest Destinations: 6 Colorful Cities Boosting Beautiful Foodscapes, Landscapes

havana-222462_960_720The world’s trendiest destinations are bold, stunning, and timeless settings, ripe for discovery. For most people, travel is a luxury enjoyed on merely a yearly basis. So, if one is only able to take one or two trips a year, it’s best to seek out adventure in locations that are trendy and breathtaking. The world is a large, beautiful place. While I’ll soon discuss foodscapes and landscapes that exist throughout the east, browse the names of some of the trendiest locations throughout the Caribbean and beyond:  

Havana, Cuba

Now that travel restrictions have been lifted, countless individuals are flocking to the vibrant capital city of Havana, which is known for its African influences, diverse architecture, and incomparable dishes. Before you pack the hand-rolled cigars and aged rum to take home, visit the Hotel Nacional de Cuba or Saratoga Hotel, and eat at the amazing La Cocina de Lilliam and Paladar La Guarida. Some other places to consider for sopping up culture are the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes, the Casa de Africa, and La Casa de la Music.

 

Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

Copacabana Beach, Ipanema, and similar iconic hotspots have drawn countless individuals to the beautiful destination known for its diverse people and popularly flawless landscape. The Copacabana Palace Hotel or Hotel Fasano are accommodations favorited by entertainers such as Jennifer Lopez and Rihanna. And when it’s time to have have room and take in the local flavors, it’s recommended that you take part of the dancing at Rio Scenarium, the barbecue buffet at Porcao Rio, and the shopping at the Hippie Fair in Ipanema.

 

Cape Town, South Africa

Cape Town is a city popularized by former president and political prisoner Nelson Mandela, but the city is so much more. The area is marked by beautiful sites and cultural terminals. The colorful Camps Bay and Kalk Bay offer unique waterfront experiences, with more than six dozen restaurant and shop options. One the most renowned wine-producing cities in France is the scenic city of Bordeaux. Located just three hours away from Park, the is recognized for the architecture, it’s world-class shopping, and the Bordeaux Wine Festival, which takes place in June. Grand Hotel de Bordeaux is a centrally located establishment that’s ideal for room and board. For food, many look to the skillful hands of the chef at Le Bistrot du Gabriel, where they’ll have a winning view of the River Garonne. Martinique

A destination filled with Francophones and adorned with preserved Euro and Afro influences, Martinique. The saltfish fritters, known as Accra, are local delicacies that can be enjoyed at Le Kano Beach Bar. Visits to the Le Petibonum can be enhanced by the potent and delicious ti’ punch. Rhum Clement can be purchased as a gift or to be used so that you can make ti’ punch of your own. La Savane de Esclaves in the town of Trois-ilets tells the story of local history, tells the story of the island’s slave history.

 

Caye Caulker, Belize

Located 20 miles the mainland, the small English-speaking island is likely one of Belize’s best kept secret. Whether sampling the tangy locally produced hot sauce at Marie Sharps’ or the conch ceviche and grilled lobster at Rose’s Bar and Grill and Habaneros Restaurant, respectively, tourists have decadent choices. The remarkable view at Sea Dream can only be bested by the adventure that the Caye Culker Marine Reserve proposes, with its access to sailboats.
